we had a really nice stay at the plough inn. the location was prefect for visiting family in the area. mrs chu was such a great host, made us feel super welcome. also, the chinese resturant attached to the inn is amazin, best chinese we've had in a while! the room was comfy and everything we needed was there.
the decor was a bit confusing, like mixing styles and stuff. also, could've used a bit more space in the dining area.

Fantastic stay with great breakfast!
Had a lovely time! The room was super clean and cozy. The best part was the massive breakfast we got delivered right to our room. We were blown away by how much food there was! A bit odd that there was no cooked breakfast included though, had to pay extra for it. really enjoyed the stay!

Our stay was perfect for visiting family nearby. The food in the onsite Chinese restaurant was excellent, and Mrs Choo was an outstanding host who made us feel welcome. The room was neat and had everything we needed. We appreciated the variety of options at breakfast, though a later breakfast time would have been nicer on the weekend.

Exceptional Chinese Dining Experience
We had a fantastic stay with excellent food from the on-site Chinese restaurant, which served the best meal we've ever had! Breakfast was deliciously wholesome, and the room was incredibly comfortable with great amenities. The warm welcome from the owner made our experience even better. it would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast included rather than having to pay extra for it.

The overhead rain showers in the bathroom lacked pressure—might just need a good descaling. On a separate note, breakfast timing could be a squeeze. starting at 7:30am didn’t quite match our early schedule, leading to a minor scramble for something more fulfilling. heating issues arose, needing attention in at least one of the rooms during our stay.
